What is the difference between a festival pass and tickets?

A Festival pass allows the holder to attend any film screening or event, subject to availability, as compared to buying individual tickets for individual screenings. A festival pass is idea for someone who wants to see multiple films or attend multiple events, while tickets are best for those who only want to attend specific films.

What if the showcase is sold out? Can I still attend?

We will hold “stand-by” lines at all sold-out film showcases, and begin to release any available seats to the stand-by line 10 minutes after the program’s start time. Pass holders and ticket holders have priority.

Can I share my festival pass with someone else?

All passes were assigned with a name. The festival pass is non-transferable and is intended for the person associated with the pass.

What happens if I lose my festival pass or ticket?

If you lose your festival pass, contact the festival organizers immediately via email: dcshortsfestival@gmail.com with subject line: “Lost Pass: [ your name ]”, or stop by the Festival’s Box Office and we will take note of it and replace the pass for you.

Are festival passes and tickets refundable?

All passes and tickets are nonrefundable.

How do I pick up my festival pass?
